After reading I looked into supplements I thought might be useful to me but found myself once again feeling overwhelmed by all the options.
This has been so helpful to me in making decisions about my health. I have learned that I likely get the majority of the nutrients from my diet I don't eat the typical American diet.

The layout of the book lends itself well to reading cover to cover or using as a reference. The author includes a list of resources to dig deeper on individual supplements. My only gripe, and it's relatively minor, is that the author occasionally deviates from scientific evidence into the "art" of belief, though she explains this briefly. This has valuable information, including what foods supply the vitamins and minerals recommended. The author is easy to read, passionate and well educated on the material. I believe this is a good resource if you have health issues you wish to address with supplements, perhaps in addition to a medical consult. Personally, I think the medical system is too emphatic on big pharma and this is a helpful book to explore alternative material.
Excellent Resource Lots of great advice with detailed info, including pros and cons of meds and supplements and how to safely use them. Great purchase!
